LIMITED DELEGATE PLACES !! BOOK TODAY
Dear Colleagues,
The First National Better Health for Men Conference was conceived in 2007 when Professors Roger and Mike Kirby put together a programme that looked at the common issues surrounding men’s health in the UK. The catalyst for the concept was their frustration that men in the UK continue to die prematurely from cardiovascular disease, diabetes, urological conditions, obesity, heart disease, as well as suffering from other such problems as erectile dysfunction, depression and addiction and that there was no national conference addressing these major issues. Four years and five conferences later, The BHFM Conference has grown into one of the UKs premier men’s health events attracting delegates and key opinion leaders from around the UK.
Although men’s health is now being taken seriously and on more agendas than ever before it remains a fact that a great deal more needs to be done to detect problems earlier and encourage men to adopt a much healthier lifestyle and the 2012 conference intends to continue to explore and debate the issues that face all healthcare professionals in getting them in part to empower their patients to change and challenge their own lifestyles.
If you want to have a look at past conference information and articles take a browse at them on the previous conferences page on this site, it will give you a flavour about past events and what we are promoting.
